Kepimpinan

Ketika kewafatan baginda Rasulullah SAW, hanya beberapa orang ahli keluarga dan sahabat yang menguruskan jenazah baginda. Ramai di kalangan sahabat pada ketika itu membincangkan suatu perkara yang sangat penting iaitu memilih pengganti kepada Rasulullah SAW. Kepimpinan merupakan suatu perkara yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia apatah lagi melibatkan urusan yang besar seperti menguruskan pentadbiran Negara dan hal ehwal umat Islam keseluruhannya. Peristiwa di atas merupakan suatu contoh jelas yang boleh kita ambil pengajaran dalam urusan memilih pemimpin iaitu dengan berbincang dan bermesyuarat.
Ketua merupakan suatu kemestian yang ada dalam sebuah organisasi atau jemaah. Rasulullah SAW pernah menegaskan mengenai perkara ini dalam satu hadis.


“Jika kamu bertiga, hendaklah kamu melantik seseorang mengetuai kamu.”

Ketua memainkan peranan bagi mengepalai dalam setiap tindakan dan membuat keputusan serta sedia bertanggungjawab dengan keputusan yang diambil olehnya. Ketua yang amanah akan bersikap jujur dan adil demi kebaikan majoriti orang di sekelilingnya serta tidak mementingkan diri sendiri. Oleh kerana tugas sebagai pemimpin merupakan suatu amanah yang besar serta sangat besar tanggungjawabnya, maka pemimpin perlu dipilih daripada mereka yang layak dan memenuhi kriteria yang diperlukan. Ibn Khaldun menetapkan empat syarat sahaja untuk menjadi khalifah iaitu: Memiliki ilmu pengetahuan sehingga sampai ke peringkat berijtihad; Keadilan – di mana semua jawatan dalam agama mesti berlandaskan keadilan; Kesanggupan dan berani menjalankan undang-undang hudud serta menghadapi peperangan dan boleh mengarah rakyat berperang; mengetahui hal ehwal diplomasi dan cekap dalam siasah; dan, Kesejahteraan pancaindera dan anggota badan dari kecederaan seperti gila, buta, tuli, bisu, cacat tangan, kaki dan sebagainya.
Islam menggariskan beberapa sikap yang perlu diamalkan oleh seorang pemimpin antaranya bersikap lemah lembut, pemaaf, teguh pendirian dan bertawakkal kepada Allah SWT.

“Maka dengan sebab rahmat (yang melimpah-limpah) dari Allah (kepadamu wahai Muhammad) engkau telah bersikap lemah lembut kepada mereka (sahabat-sahabat dan pengikutmu), dan kalaulah engkau bersikap kasar lagi keras hati, tentulah mereka lari dari kelilingmu. Oleh itu maafkanlah mereka (mengenai kesalahan yang mereka lakukan terhadapmu), dan pohonkanlah ampun bagi mereka, dan juga bermesyuaratlah dengan mereka dalam urusan (peperangan dan soal-soal keduniaan) itu. Kemudian apabila engkau telah berazam (sesudah bermesyuarat untuk membuat sesuatu) maka bertawakal kepada Allah, sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengasihi orang-orang yang bertawakal kepada-Nya.” (Aali Imran, 3: 159)

Kita melihat sendiri bagaimana Rasulullah SAW menolak permintaan Abu Zar yang menginginkan jawatan ketua atau pemimpin di kalangan orang Islam dengan alasan bahawa beliau (Abu Zar) adalah seorang lemah, tidak mampu memikul tanggungjawab seorang pemimpin yang berkaliber. Peranan utama pemimpin ialah bersikap amanah dan bertanggungjawab dengan adil dalam semua perkara yang melibatkan amanah yang diberikan kepadanya. Manakala peranan umum bagi pengikut ialah memberikan petaatan kepada pemimpin selagi tidak bercanggah dengan suruhan dan larangan Allah swt serta menegur sekiranya terdapat kesilapan dalam tindakan pemimpin.

“Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Taatilah Allah dan taatilah Rasul dan ulul amri (pemegang kuasa) di kalangan kamu. Kemudian jika kamu berselisih pendapat tentang sesuatu, maka kembalikanlah kepada Allah (al-Quran) dan Rasul (Sunnahnya) jika kamu beriman kepada Allah dan hari kemudian. Yang demikian itu lebih baik (bagi kamu) dan lebih baik akibatnya.” (an-Nisa’, 5: 59)
Ayat di atas dengan jelas menyuruh agar manusia memberikan ketaatan yang mutlak tanpa ragu-ragu kepada Allah dan Rasul. Ayat di atas menggunakan ‘feel amar’ yang membawa maksud wajib taat kepada Allah dan Rasul. Di samping itu, kita juga diminta agar taat kepada ulil amri iaitu pemimpin di kalangan kita. Walaubagaimanapun ketaatan kepada pemimpin tidak mutlak seperti ketaatan kepada Allah dan Rasul.
Dari Ibn `Umar r.a.: “Dengar dan taat (kepada pemerintah) adalah kewajipan setiap individu muslim dalam perkara yang dia suka atau benci selagi dia tidak diperintahkan dalam perkara maksiat. Apabila dia diperintahkan dalam perkara maksiat maka tiada lagi dengar dan taat.” (Riwayat Al-Bukhari dan Muslim) Maka tidak ada ketaatan dalam perkara maksiat dan setiap perkara yang bertentangan dengan suruhan Allah. Kita wajar mencontohi sikap kepemimpinan yang pernah ditonjolkan oleh baginda Rasulullah dan para sahabat. Mereka berjaya menonjolan keindahan Islam dengan berlaku adil kepada semua pihak termasuk kaum bukan Islam yang mendiami kota Madinah. Abu Bakar dalam ucapan dasarnya selepas dilantik menjadi khalifah menggantikan Rasulullah dengan rendah diri menyeru agar umat Islam mengikutinya jika benar dan menegurnya jika salah.

“Wahai manusia, sesungguhnya aku telah memrintah kalian dan aku bukanlah yang terbaik diantara kalian, seandainya aku berbuat kebaikan, ikutilah, dan bila aku berbuat keburukan, luruskanlah. Sedekah merupakan amanah, sedangkan dusta adalah khianat. Orang yang lemah diantara kalian menjadi orang kuat di sisiku sampai kuberikan hak darinya, Insya Allah tidak satupun kawan yang meninggalkan jihad di jalan Allah, kecuali dia bakal menimpakan kehinaan kepada mereka dan tidaklah menyebar kekejian pada suatu kaum melainkan dia akan menyelimutinya dengan malapetaka. Patuhilah aku selama aku patuh kepada Allah Swt. dan rasul-Nya. Seandainya aku berbuat durhaka, tentu kalian tidak wajib mematuhiku. Lakukanlah shalat semoga Allah mengasihi kalian semua.”
Dan beliau menegaskan bahawa tidak ada ketaatan lagi kepadanya jika beliau durhaka terhadap suruhan Allah. Ucapan ringkas yang padat ini wajar dijadikan panduan bagi kita terutamanya pemimpin sebuah organisasi apatah lagi pemimpin Negara. Ketaatan kepada pemimpin adalah perlu berterusan dalam setiap perkara yang disukai atau dibenci dan dalam senang atau susah. Perihal ketaatan kepada pemimpin juga dapat difahami dengan meniliti hadis di bawah;

Imam al-Bukhari meriwayatkan dari Junaidah bin Abi Umayyah dari ‘Ubaidah bin Al-Samit yang menyatakan:”Rasulullah S.A.W. telah memanggil kami, lalu kami pun memberi baiah kepada baginda… kemudian `Ubaidah berkata:”Di antara perkara yang diminta kami berjanji ialah; Kami berjanji mendengar dan mentaati (Rasulullah) dalam perkara yang kami sukai atau benci, dalam keadaan kami susah dan senang, tidak mementingkan diri sendiri, tidak membantah terhadap amir (ketua) dalam urusan-urusan kecuali kami melihat kekufuran terhadap Allah secara nyata dengan bukti yang terang dan jelas.”

Pemimpin perlu menyedari akan amanah dan tanggungjawab yang besar tersebut dengan berlaku adil berpandukan al-Quran dan Sunnah. Dalam masa yang sama, pengikut juga perlu memahami dan memainkan peranan dalam mentaati pemimpin serta membantu dalam menegakkan kebenaran.

Pilihan vs Kenyataan

Jatuh...
Lalu bangkit kembali...
Gagal...
Tapi tak pernah menyerah untuk meraih kejayaan
Berjalan dan berlari
Mengejar mimpi-mimpi

Hitam dan putih adalah pilihan
Dua hal yang saling bertentangan
Namun berpasangan
Siang dan malam adalah kenyataan
Hak pregrogatif Tuhan Yang Maha Penyayang
Suatu hal yang harus kita hadapi
Masa sekarang dan akan datang

Pilihan dan kenyataan
Bagian kecil dari masa hidup yang tunggal
Kesempatan dan kemudahan
Tentangan dan hambatan
Risiko serta gangguan
Warna-warni kehidupan

Pilihan vs kenyataan
Dua hal yang berbeda pengertian
Kejayaan berawal dari sebuah kesungguhan
Rajin dan malas, berjaya dan gagal
Bukan kenyataan...
Namun pilihan yang nyata adanya
Dan akan menjadi kenyataan
Dalam menjalani manis pahitnya kehidupan
